Teri Kleckner - Foundation Staff
Meet Teri Kleckner, administrative manager for the DeKalb County Community Foundation. Teri joined the Community Foundation staff in 2024. Before joining the Foundation, she was a floral designer at Kar-Fre Flowers in Sycamore (1999-2023). Additionally, she worked for Edge PPE in Elburn as an administrative assistant (2015-2023).
ROLE AT THE FOUNDATION: (Administrative Manager)
In her role, Teri's responsibilities include bookkeeping, data entry, project support, office operations, The Freight Room rentals, and welcoming visitors to the Foundation.
"I am excited to be part of the Community Foundation, a place where I can see how the heartwarming generosity from our community impacts nonprofit organizations. I, too, want to be part of something that enhances the quality of life in DeKalb County."
Teri has achieved the following educational degree: an associate's in horticulture and greenhouse management from Joliet Junior College.
Teri and her husband, Dave, live in Sycamore. Their daughter Elizabeth is a 2023 graduate of Sycamore High School and an alum of the Community Foundation's Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP) committee. Some of Teri's favorite leisure activities include spending time with family and friends and watching hockey.
