ROLE AT THE FOUNDATION: (Executive Director)

Dan provides supportive leadership to ensure that our mission, vision, and strategic priorities are fulfilled through the development and proper use of resources. Essentially, he works for the Foundation Board of Directors, overseeing the Foundation's day-to-day operations and helping generous individuals, families, businesses, and groups to meet needs and inspire opportunities in the community by partnering with the Foundation to achieve their giving goals.

"I am inspired by the many donors (past and present) who entrust their hard-earned financial resources with us to benefit our collective quality of life in DeKalb County. Helping generous people with giving legacy plans that align with their life stories and values, in particular, is incredibly humbling."

ABOUT DAN:
Faith is critical to Dan. He enjoys learning, growing, and serving others to live out his beliefs. Dan and his family live in Sycamore. One of his favorite things is spending time with his wife and two children. Unplugging and recharging for Dan involves time with the family dog, in a movie theater with popcorn, and conversing with others while sipping a glass of wine on the back deck.
