Ben Bingle - Foundation Staff

Meet Ben Bingle, director of the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP). Ben joined the DeKalb County Community Foundation staff in 2016. He has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector leading local, statewide, and federal initiatives; designing and evaluating programs; raising funds; and directing large-scale contract-based research. Ben has 27 peer-reviewed publications focused on the effectiveness of nonprofit and governmental institutions.

ROLE AT THE FOUNDATION: (DCNP Director)

DCNP exists to strengthen nonprofit organizations through programs, funding opportunities, and initiatives, including Give DeKalb County. To accomplish this, Ben collaborates with stakeholders throughout DeKalb County to identify and understand the needs for more substantial organizations. In addition, he works to create and implement programs to meet those needs while evaluating and communicating about the impact of these programs and the nonprofit sector.

“The collective impact of nonprofit organizations is extraordinary, despite being often overlooked. I find inspiration in the roles I can play within the Foundation to enhance nonprofit impact in ways that are ethical, equitable, cost-effective, inclusive, and sustainable.”
