July 10, 2023The DeKalb County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for fall 2023 Community Needs Grants, Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants, and Promise Grants. Eligible nonprofit and public sector organizations are encouraged to apply.
- Community Needs Grants support the charitable needs and efforts of local nonprofit and public sector organizations. Funding for this grant program is made possible through ongoing donor generosity to Community Impact Funds at the Community Foundation. The application deadline is Friday, September 1, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants requesting $20,000 or more must submit a Letter of Intent via the website by August 1. - Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and public sector organizations and educational institutions throughout DeKalb County and the greater Chicagoland area. Funding for this grant program comes from the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation. The application deadline is Friday, September 1, at 11:59 p.m. Contact Arts & Culture Consultant George Buck with questions or for assistance at george@dekalbccf.org. - Promise Grants support charitable community organizations that provide services to underserved and often dismissed populations in DeKalb County. The Promise Grant program aims to inspire, educate, and empower individuals who may experience extraordinary challenges due to their ethnicity, immigration status, and abilities. The application deadline is October 1, 2023.
