Scholarships are made possible by donor generosity to Funds at the Community Foundation. Donors create Funds for a variety of reasons, such as memorializing a loved one, supporting students with specific characteristics, or celebrating personal success.
Most of these scholarship awards are administered and selected in the local high schools. Students can contact their high school counseling department in the spring to learn how to apply and visit dekalbccf.org/scholarships for details.
If giving the gift of education is of interest to you, consider donating to an existing Scholarship Fund online or by mail to the DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178.
