The DeKalb County Community Foundation is currently accepting online applications for the Ed and Kim Kapper Physical Therapy Scholarship, Renaissance Scholarship, and the Spinoso Masters Scholarship. The application deadline is June 1, 2022, for all three scholarships. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to review the guidelines and scholarship criteria before applying online.

- The Ed and Kim Kapper Physical Therapy Scholarship provides support for a DeKalb County high school graduate who is attending an accredited physical therapy program at an accredited college or university. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donor Kim Kapper in memory of her husband, Ed.
- The Renaissance Scholarship is available for students who have been a part of the workforce and are now seeking an undergraduate degree. Recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for up to three years. Applicants must be a resident of DeKalb County or living within the service boundary of Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donor Yvonne Johnson.
- Spinoso Masters Scholarships, up to $10,000 each, are available for students pursuing a master’s level or post-undergraduate education. Eligible applicants must have graduated from a DeKalb County high school but do not have to live in DeKalb County currently. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donors John and Vivian Spinoso.
