The DeKalb County Community Foundation is currently accepting funding requests for Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants. Nonprofit and eligible public sector direct service organizations are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is September 1, 2021, for both grant programs.
Community Needs Grants
Community Needs Grants support the charitable needs and efforts of local nonprofit and public sector direct service organizations throughout DeKalb County. Funding for this grant program is made possible through donor generosity to Community Impact Funds and the power of endowment. Application deadline is Wednesday, September 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants
Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and public sector direct service organizations throughout DeKalb County and the greater Chicagoland area. Funding for this grant program is made possible through a Field of Interest Fund established by the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation in 2012 at the Community Foundation. Application deadline is Wednesday, September 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Applicants requesting $25,000 or more must contact the Community Foundation before August 1 to take part in additional requirements.
