Ellwood House Internship Fund Promotes Racial Diversity and Opportunity
May 7, 2021The DeKalb County Community Foundation is currently accepting online applications for the Renaissance Scholarship, Spinoso Masters Scholarship, and the Ed & Kim Kapper Physical Therapy Scholarship. Application deadline is June 1, 2021 for all three scholarships. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to review the guidelines and scholarship criteria prior to applying online at dekalbccf.org/scholarships.
- The Renaissance Scholarship is available for students who were a part of the workforce and now desire to return to the academic world in pursuit of a college degree. Recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for three succeeding years. Applicants must be residents of DeKalb County or a resident living within the serschvice boundary of Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donor Yvonne Johnson.
- Spinoso Masters Scholarships are available for students pursuing a Masters level or post-undergraduate education. Worth up to $10,000, Spinoso Masters Scholarships are available to graduates of DeKalb County high schools. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donors John and Vivian Spinoso.
- The Ed and Kim Kapper Physical Therapy Scholarship provides support for a high school graduate of a DeKalb County school who is attending an accredited physical therapy program at an accredited college or university. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donor Kim Kapper in memory of her husband Ed.
