Ramping up Youth Involvement in the Community
July 7, 2020Applications for fall 2020 Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants are currently available through the DeKalb County Community Foundation. Nonprofit and public sector service organizations are highly encouraged to apply. Application deadline is Tuesday, September 1, 2020 for both grant programs.
Community Needs Grants support the charitable needs and efforts of local nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County. Funding for this grant program is made possible through donor generosity to community impact funds and the power of endowment.
Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County and the greater Chicagoland area. Funding for this grant program is made possible through a donor advised fund established by the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation in 2012 at the Community Foundation.
Applicants requesting $25,000 or more must contact the Community Foundation prior to August 1 to take part in additional requirements.
