February 28, 2020Nonprofit registration is now open for Give DeKalb County 2020! This 24-hour fundraising event will be held on May 7, 2020. During this giving day, donors can support nonprofit organizations by making donations online from midnight to midnight or in-person at the DeKalb County Community Foundation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. New for 2020, in-person donations can also be made at the Sandwich Public Library from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 7.
Give DeKalb County is coordinated by the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP), a program of the Community Foundation. The previous six giving days combined have raised over $2.5 million for participating nonprofit organizations.
A bonus pool of funds is being raised and each donation made during Give DeKalb County is boosted by a percentage of these bonus funds. The bonus pool is made possible from the generous support of Community Partners, including: DeKalb County Community Foundation, The Suter Company, First Midwest Bank, State Farm—Keicher Insurance Agency, Ideal Industries, Hy-Vee, Thrivent Financial—Shawn Blobaum, Heartland Bank and Trust Company, Papa John’s Pizza, The Chulick Family Fund, Paul Callighan, Cathy Doederlein, Joe and Karen Grush, Herb and Linda Holderman, Jerry and Annette Johns, Mark Mannebach and Erika Shlichter, Scott and Kristin Miller, Dan and Kathy Schewe, Lynne Waldeland, and Anita Zurbrugg.

We welcome donors of all ages and donations both large and small; everyone can make a difference during Give DeKalb County.”
Participating nonprofits must be 501(c)3 organizations located in or serving DeKalb County that are legally registered with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and are 2020 DCNP members by March 1, 2020. The deadline to register for Give DeKalb County as a participating organization is April 1, 2020. Online registration and additional details are available at givedekalbcounty.org.
