The DeKalb County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants. Nonprofits and charitable organizations are encouraged to apply.
- Community Needs Grants support the charitable needs and efforts of our local nonprofit and community organizations. Funding for this grant program is made possible through ongoing donor generosity to community impact funds at the Community Foundation. Last year, $273,792 was granted in support. Application deadline is Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
Please note: Applicants requesting $25,000 or more must contact Grants Director Tiffany McQueen Lewis at 815-748-5383 or tiffany@dekalbccf.org by February 1 for the spring grant cycle. Applications for greater than $25,000 that have not been vetted with the Community Foundation by February 1 will not be accepted.

- Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County and the greater Chicagoland area. Funding for this grant program is made possible through the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation. Last year, $250,250 was granted in support. Application deadline is Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
