Nonprofits and charitable organizations are encouraged to apply for a fall 2019 Community Needs Grant or a Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grant. Application deadline is Sunday, September 1. Applicants requesting $25,000 or more must contact the Community Foundation by August 1.

Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County and the greater Chicagoland area. Funding for this grant program is made possible through a donor advised fund established by the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation in 2012 at the Community Foundation.
