Donors can support participating nonprofit organizations during Give DeKalb County to be held on May 2, 2019. The 24-hour charitable giving day is coordinated by the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP), which is a program of the DeKalb County Community Foundation.
The previous five annual giving days have raised over $1.8 million combined for participating nonprofit organizations.
“Last year we saw incredible engagement from donors with $614,555 raised,” said DCNP Director, Ben Bingle. “Give DeKalb County continues to be an exciting way for all of us to join together in support of the 90+ participating nonprofits. We look forward to seeing the generosity of our community come to life on May 2.”
Donations can be made online by credit or debit card from midnight to midnight on May 2 at www.GiveDeKalbCounty.org. Donors may also choose to give by cash or check at the DeKalb County Community Foundation between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on May 2. The minimum online donation amount is $5.
A bonus pool has been raised and each donation made during Give DeKalb County is boosted by a percentage of these additional funds.
