Carani Receives Harold P. Wells Scholarship Award
May 3, 2018It’s back! We are excited to announce The Sycamore Depot Light Show is returning for another evening of artistry on the walls of the historic Sycamore Train Depot. Open to the public, The Light Show is just one of many 25th Anniversary celebration events planned for the DeKalb County Community Foundation (1993-2018).
Please join us on Saturday, May 19 for an evening of fun, artistic interpretation, and celebration. This year, The Light Show will feature an indoor “DeKalb County by Drone” show starting at 7:00 p.m. Displayed on the interior walls of The Freight Room, this 30-minute show will fly viewers through DeKalb County, capturing the beauty and highlights of the community we serve. Starting at dusk (appx. 8:45 p.m.), watch as we light up the walls of the Depot, featuring the work of Northern Illinois University (NIU) Time Arts students and Associate Professor Bart Woodstrup.
