            Strength Through Partnership_Conclusion

As we reflect on 2016, we would like to take a moment and say thank you for the philanthropic partnerships that have been forged or grown in the past year. We greatly appreciate all who have given of their time, talent, and treasure for the good of the community.

Our 2016 ‘Strength Through Partnership’ theme was built on the belief that many in our community share the same vision we do: partnering is essential to building strong communities throughout DeKalb County! This theme ties closely to our Strategic Plan priorities and is relevant to our major roles as a Community Foundation:  Endowments & Donor Services, Stewardship, Grantmaking, and Community Initiatives.

Over the last 12 months we shared a few stories of partnerships. Some were community based with donors, nonprofits, and community organizations, while others were more aligned with the internal workings of the Community Foundation. We hope these stories were educational and inspiring to all. While we were not able to include each and every one of our partnerships, we truly appreciate all of them!

We know that people working together do make a difference…for ourselves, our neighbors, and our whole community. We are here to make that difference last forever. We help families, individuals, and companies build legacies of giving that will stay here, locally, forever.

If you find yourself inspired and wish to do more, please contact us. We’d love to partner with you! Each gift will be put to work to change lives…today, tomorrow, and forever.

            There is Strength Through Partnership!
