The DeKalb County Community Foundation proudly announces that Anousone “Gayle” Bouttaphanh of DeKalb, is the 2016 award recipient of the Renaissance Scholarship. Bouttaphanh will receive a $1,000 scholarship award toward her education in Office Systems annually for four years. Bouttaphanh is currently a student at Kishwaukee College.
The Renaissance Scholarship was founded in 2007 by local philanthropist, Yvonne Johnson, to support an individual returning to school for his or her undergraduate degree after being a part of the work force.
