How Community Foundations Partner with Donors
December 7, 2015As we reflect on 2015 and enter 2016, we are celebrating a number of philanthropic partnerships that have been forged or grown in the past year. We believe many in our community share the same vision we do: partnering is essential to building strong communities throughout DeKalb County! With so many great relationships established, we decided our theme for 2015-2016 will be ‘Strength Through Partnership’.
This theme is closely tied to our Strategic Plan priorities and is relevant to our major roles as a Community Foundation: Endowments & Donor Services, Stewardship, Grantmaking, and Community Initiatives. Learn more about these roles in our Report to the Community.
Supporting a broad range of nonprofit and community organizations, we know that people working together do make a difference…for ourselves, our neighbors, and our whole community. We are here to make that difference last forever. We help families, individuals, and companies build legacies of giving that will stay here, locally, forever.
From now through November 2016 we will be sharing stories of partnering with others in our community. We hope you find these stories inspiring and relatable to your own dreams of charitable giving. If you find yourself inspired and wish to do more, please contact us. We assure you, each gift will be put to work to change lives…today, tomorrow, and forever. For good. For ever.
