Ways to Donate

Give Online (New online platform!)
Using a credit or debit card, make a gift through our secure online platform in a few easy steps.

  • Choose the Donate Now! button
  • Select a Fund
  • Enter the amount you wish to give
  • Add to cart and proceed to checkout
  • Complete your donation by filling in the required information

Please note that credit card transactions carry a processing fee. This fee will be deducted from the gift amount and the net proceeds will be added to the fund. Your tax deduction will still be the gross amount of the gift. If you wish to cover the fee in your donation, simply check the "Add 3% to your donation to cover our processing fees" at the end of the form.

Cash or Check
An easy way to make contributions, both large and small. Donations can be made in person or by mail. Please make checks out to DeKalb County Community Foundation and include any gift direction in the memo section, through a gift envelope, or a cover letter. Gifts can be mailed or dropped off to DeKalb County Community Foundation – 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178.

Appreciated Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds
With donations of stocks or bonds that have been held for some time, donors can avoid significant capital gains, and the net contribution is larger than the actual cost. A real "win-win" for donor and Community Foundation alike.
