How The DeKalb County Community Foundation Can Help You in your Philanthropy:

Personalized Service—We can make your charitable transfer easy, flexible and effective, helping you achieve your personal, charitable and financial goals. We are happy to answer your questions and complete all required paperwork; or, if you prefer, we can consult with your financial advisor or estate planner to come up with the solution that’s right for you and your family. We can help you establish a fund in your name or in the name of a loved one. Depending on your choice, the fund may be used to meet ever-changing needs, address a single cause you care about or support a specific agency.

Local Expertise—Our professional program staff continually monitors all areas of community need, including human services, education, environment, healthcare, community development and the arts. We also understand the capabilities of local nonprofits addressing these needs. When you give to the community foundation, you know your gift will be put to good use.

Community Leadership—We are leaders helping to make our community better, bringing diverse voices and groups together to address local issues. We foster greater giving and volunteering in our community. And we plan for the future by building endowments to ensure grants support the community forever.
